Go Star Gazing with the Awesome Astronomers at Rancho

Details

The Weather is warming up and it is going to be absolutely wonderful this weekend! So why not get out into the fresh night air and enjoy an evening with our local awesome astronomers? You don't even need to bring anything, they have telescopes they love to let us look through and they can find just about anything you can request.

This is a real safe, gentle, family event and kids are more than welcome. When you come, please bring a jacket as the coolness will sneak up on you. Bring a flashlight, and we will help you cover it in red gel to preserve your night vision. When you find the parking lot at the end of Casa Loma Road, please use your parking lights and turn you headlights off. We are just past the parking lot in the equestrian lot. Only folks with telescopes can drive in there, please. Everyone else is more than welcome to park in the asphalt parking lot.

We do have a restroom, but no running water to be sure to bring something to drink and snacks if you want them. Also, if you have a pair of binoculars, we will be glad to show you our newly learned ways of finding cool stuff in those as well.

The evening starts at 8 pm and goes until 10 pm. Come on down!
