Go Stargazing with Awesome Astronomers

Guess what?? We have awesome astronomers who come with great big fun telescopes! So you don't even have to bring one of your own. But if you do want to learn how to use you own, you can ask them all about the San Jose Astronomical Association and their fantastic classes all for beginning astronomers. This is a great, friendly bunch of folks who truly enjoy sharking their love of the night sky with our visitors. Come on out at 7 - 7:30 pm. Bring warm clothes and something warm to drink and a snack you enjoy. We'll be out there until 10 pm enjoying the night sky and learning as much as you like.

Bring the kids. Bring your friends. You won't be disappointed.

If you have a flashlight, do bring that for your own comfort. We have red plastic to put over the end so you can preserve your night vision. This preserve is nice and dark. You can even see the milky way! Which reminds me, if by chance it does cloud up or rain, then the event is canceled. Can't see stars through clouds and no one wants to get rained on with their telescope. But that's okay because we will have plenty of chances to come see the starts this season. So come on out and spot some stars with us!
