Black River Clean Up

Anyone interested in helping with the 2014 Black River Cleanup can find details regarding sign ups, expected duties, etc can go to http://blackrivercleanup.webs.com/register-day-1. You can also check out their website which is www.loco yaks.com for more info about the cleanup and pics from prior events.  After cleaning, meet at headquarters (Black River Landing) for relaxation, entertainment, drinks and dinner.  This is a great way to give back to communities and to help and build alliances with other paddle clubs.

Picked a lot of garbage today that was at one time in the Black River! I know that my efforts helped make a difference, at least that's what I kept telling myself each time I picked up a piece of human history (code for trash, LOL)!

Gerry, the website says the time is from 10:00 am to 3 pm, and our meetup says from 7:00 am to 10:00 am! Which time should we be there?
