As writers, we sometimes need to get away from the everyday grind that monopolizes our time, energy and creativity. It helps if we can escape the "rat race" to rediscover the craft and pleasure of our writing in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

The Ohio Writers Retreats membership group was organized in 2009, to help us escape for a weekend or just a day. We'll feature, sponsor, co-sponsor and present writing retreats that offer getaway options closer to home, here in Ohio. The current weather forecast calls for getting away to an island in May and September or October in 2011. To be notified by email, join our meetup group today!

IMPORTANT: Currently, there are no membership dues to be a member of the Ohio Writers Retreats group, but the retreats we sponsor, co-sponsor or feature will require that you reserve in advance and pay a fee to attend.
