Olayinka! - To: Expose the impact of fear; Encourage the discouraged; and Empower people to Embrace the abundant life God promised, through programing such as Woman 2 Woman, DIVA, Little DIVA and Get Real!

Olayinka (o-la-YEEN-ka), is a Yoruba word that when loosely translated, means “surrounded by prosperity” or “abundance surrounds me.”

Olayinka founder, Cherise M. Young, believes God sent Jesus to save and rescue all humanity. Ms Young adds, “Allowing Jesus to fully impact our lives leads to deliverance from despair and from an attitude of defeat.”

Olayinka! is determined to help individuals, families and groups embrace life as God ordained.

Woman 2 Woman: From Victim to Victorious

The Bible says that we are victorious in Christ, but sometimes our life experiences try to convince us that we are victims. Woman 2 Woman: from Victim to Victorious is conducted in a small group setting that seeks to minister to the needs of woman who have been impacted by divorce, domestic violence, and any life-changing trauma. Woman 2 Woman: from Victim to Victorious wants to help women make the transition from tragedy to triumph.

The purpose of W2W:

To equip women to be able to love God with all their mind, soul and strength

To assist women to get past their past and live fully in the present for God

To strengthen our relationship with a loving God – who forgives, understands, and helps us make sense of the senseless things in our lives.

Please join Cherise and the other women as we delve in The Word and heal from the trauma we have endured.

We will meet twice per month from 10 am - 12 pm on Saturday. Specific locations will be posted for members only. To make sure all have space to be heard, we limit the attendance to 7.

Beginning in February 2012 we will focus on: Being Authentic!

Authentic: not false or copied; genuine; real

God designed you perfectly. You are God's delight, God's handiwork, and you are wonderfully unique. Despite pressures from outside forces that make you feel as if you need to changes in order to measure up, god loves you just as you are and more than you could know! From Being Yourself: How Do I Take Off This Mask? by Margaret Feinberg (Women of Faith Series).

We are going to: Get Real!

Get Real will follow the Bible study by Feinberg called Being Yourself (quoted above). Women ages of 18 and over, will take on the needed work of being authentic and remove the masks we hide behind. We are God's materpiece, He made us according to His purpose and plan. It's time to Get Real and serve Him wholly!
