What do you hope to get out of this Meetup?

maybe some new books? new people? I'm not one for buying books unless it's really worth it.

What are your three favorite books?

I really can't pin it down. The ocean at the end of the lane was the best book I read last year.

If you could have dinner with any author (living or dead), who would it be and why?

Ernest Hemingway. The man lived such an amazing life, and well...he was a bad ass.

Are there any books you're too embarrassed to admit you read?

No answer yet

If you were stuck on a desert island and could only have one book, what would it be?

some sort of giant anthology, I think.

Introduction

I set a reading goal a year. I average over 100 books a year. I mostly read fantasy and science fiction, not a lot of contemporary fiction.
