I am a librarian for Omaha Public Library. It's been years since I have been in a book club!

What do you hope to get out of this Meetup?

Great conversations!

What are your three favorite books?

Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, End of Your Life Book Club, The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova.

If you could have dinner with any author (living or dead), who would it be and why?

Mark Twain...his wit and insight would be a hoot.

Are there any books you're too embarrassed to admit you read?

If you were stuck on a desert island and could only have one book, what would it be?

A survival guide.

Re: In cold Blood for Omaha Reads- It's a great book for that because it's good for both teens and adults. though I'd be the last person to call it Young Adult. But I think it's an important book for the 20th century, being the best and the first of the "new creative non-fiction". what are the other 4?
I am moving to Lincoln. may ist. Going to be packing and moving and going crazy but hope to stay with the group. Lincoln isn't far.
