End those winter blues meet & greet

The long dark days of winter are slowly ending and everyone will likely be dusting off their letterboxing gear to kick off the unofficial Easter Weekend start to a season of letterboxing!

If you're just beginning with this hobby, this is the perfect time to gather around with a cup of joe, and learn the tricks of the trade.

And if you're lucky and keep your ears perked, there might even be a few clues for word of mouth boxes going around...

Hello everyone! It looks like there are quite a few new letterboxers signed up and I'm quite excited to meet everyone!

The plan for this meet is to meet out front of the Grenadier in High Park. The event will just be coffee and tea and a discussion about what letterboxing is, its history, meet some experienced letterboxers and, of course, how to get started with letterboxing. I will have information that everyone can take home, as well as some letterboxes for you to see yourself - a bit of a show and tell.

For those experienced letterboxers who are attending, I encourage you to bring your logbooks, signature stamps, and any other letterbox paraphernalia to share.

If you're eager to get started letterboxing right away, all you really need to bring is a notebook, a set of markers, and a stamp... I will have a clue for you at the event.
