What made you decide to get into prepping?

Two things: confidence that I can be okay if any of the usual chains of supply fail, and ability to be of use to people around me.

What skills or knowledge could you offer to our community?

Firearms handling and safety, basic hunting and self-defence knowledge. Surviving technological disasters resulting in chemical contamination or nuclear fallout.

Are you preparing for a specific disaster OR are you just being prepared for anything?

Not preparing for any particular disaster, but I've always been interested in learning more about wilderness, edible and medicinal plants and anything along these lines.

I'm new to this thing. At some point I started to realize that peaceful life as we know it, shouldn't be taken for granted. Emergencies happen on a regular basis and I believe it's important to be prepared to survive and help fellow neighbours.
