21st Century Network September Meetup

We have now got out September Meeting organised. One of our members Barbara Zollner is a lecturer in Islamic Studies at Birkbeck College and has offered to lead a discussion on this debate presently going on in Islam between the currents of traditionalism, modernisation and humanism.

This is an important tension in the state of the world at the moment and it should make for a very interesting evening. Barbara is also going to invite some of her Islamic Study students and we could also invite members of the Progressive Muslim Group as well. We will hold this at Birkbeck College between 6.30 and 9.0pm on Thursday September 27th. We will let you know which room as soon as we know but Birkbeck college is at Malet Street, Bloomsbury, London WC1E 7HX
