English / Spanish Intercambio - 'Open Casa Valencia'

Meet others in your local area who share an enjoyment for a specific language and culture. Participate in intercambios to practise Spanish or English, experience cultural activities and make new friends!

My name is Martha Robb and I am the person responsible for organising 'Open Casa Valencia'. I am from Northern Ireland and currently on a career break from my post as Leisure Tourism Manager marketing the city of Belfast. I arrived in Valencia in November and currently teach English in the city.

'Open Casa Valencia' is for local Spanish people and for newcomers to Valencia all interested in improving conversation and language skills in an informal setting. A variety of activities will be introduced to stimulate conversation and as much talking as possible! Different levels of language ability will be catered for.

Venues for language exchange will be local cafes, bars and restaurants in Valencia.

As 'Open Casa Valencia' takes time to organise and manage there is a charge per session. Initially this will be from 2 euros per event. Intercambios will be organised in small groups and last approximately 2 hours.
