Open Data Book Club is a monthly series of events aimed at exploring open datasets that relate to the National Capital Region. If you are into Open Data, Data Journalism, Statistics, Visualizations, and Civic technology, this is the meetup for you.
The first event (https://www.meetup.com/Open-Data-Ottawa/events/204020382/) was awesome, and we're going to try and keep the momentum going by getting to work on the second event.
This is roughly how the event goes:
• Anyone that has done something interesting with this month's dataset is welcome to present a five minute presentation regarding what they have done
• If anyone has anything else Open Data related they wish to present, they are very welcome to!
• After the presentations, we have a couple of hours to work on Open Data, exchange ideas, and socialize with some very amazing people.
