Open Government Partnership - discuss and submit

Details
What's on: Shut and Hack - with a side of Open Government Partnership
Tonight's session will include a discussion about the Open Government Partnership and (hopefully) contributing to the Open Government wiki.
More information can be found on these websites:
Open Government Partnership website (http://www.opengovpartnership.org/)
Australia's national action plan website (https://ogpau.govspace.gov.au/)
Australia's Open Government Wiki (http://ogpau.wikispaces.com/) for posting contributions
Suggestions and contributions are due by the end of February - so we are keen to put somethings together.
Otherwise...
Shut Up and Hack is a self-directed activity evening to work on a range of open projects. Please bring your device and be prepared to work on a project of your choice.
People will be working on a range of "Open" projects such as: • Wikipedia or another wiki
• Open Streetmap or other mapping projects such as the Hipster Map and Accessible Melbourne
• Reviewing the contents of open data portals and making suggestions to improve data quality
• Requesting datasets from data custodians
• A project from GovHack, HealthHack or another hackathon that you'd like to keep working on
• Helping to organise the bigger hackathons, with a focus on inclusivity - venues and support for parents, people with disabilities, healthy food and drink alternatives, etc.
• Anything Open Knowledge you feel like working on that we've not listed
How it works:
Please arrive no earlier than 5:30PM (to avoid disrupting ThoughtWorks employees).
The meetup officially opens at 6PM, and there will be somebody to let people upstairs until about 6:15.
If you arrive after 6:15, you'll need to call and someone will let you in.
There will be some snacks provided; we try to make sure that we cover vegan and gluten free.
If you have specific needs, or feel like bringing something to share, please bring some food.
About the Meetup:
Some weeks will have more action than others - speakers, experts, a particular focus.
We will update that week's event as it happens.
If you have something in particular you would like to learn (data privacy for instance),
let us know and we'll work something out.
Open Knowledge Melbourne has a code of conduct (http://au.okfn.org/get-involved/code-of-conduct/).
