OPEN MINDS CAFE


This is a group designed to bring people together to discuss topics, ideas and issues relevant to you.


This group welcomes people from all backgrounds with guiding principles that encourage an open mind, a genuine respect, and a courtesy for how we converse.

How we meet each time:

Each night the larger group will be broken into smaller groups based on topics created before and during the night. Members will be free to mix and mingle with as many people as they would like.   If your particular group is of great interest to you, you are free to also stay with that group.  However, if you would like to hear what others are discussing you are free to get up and move around as well. It's that simple and very fun!

The group welcomes passion, diversity of viewpoints and a willingness to explore many topics of personal interest and significance.  This will be a fabulous opportunity to learn, contribute and enjoy the process of quality dialogue.

Brief History:

Inspired by the changes going on in Egypt and through out the world today I was moved to host a space and organize events where people can discuss just about anything with the understanding that freedom of speech is our birth right, just as long as it doesn't hurt or interfere with the freedoms of others.

On a Personal Note:

I feel that being open minded and communicating well with others is an on-going work in progress that moves us towards greater understanding, acceptance and possibility.  I also believe that when we exercise our voices, thoughts and passions we inspire others to do the same, strengthening everyone's journey through life.
