One of the least visible parts of edX's work is doing research about what works in online education. Through our online offerings, and in partnership with on-campus courses at our partners, we investigate better ways to teach online.

Piotr Mitros, edX Chief Scientist; and Nina Huntemann, edX Director of Academics and Research; will discuss the research landscape around edX. How is edX being used as a research platform? What are the frameworks available, and what are we learning from it? What have we already found out about online learning, and what are the hot questions people are investigating?
