What is your programming experience?

I've always dabbled in programming, hypercard, TI-BASIC, Mathematica, whatever the platform at hand presented. A couple of years ago I realized that people would PAY me to do this! Now I make web stuff. I *love* making web stuff. Forgiving languages, immediate feedback, ubiquitous adoption, and a constantly changing ecosystem. What's not to love? I have little formal CS training, although a BSc with a major in physics made sure that math, computers, and programming were always a part of my life. I work primarily in Javascript, and although I can use many language I will generally find an excuse to use JS. That means I love jQuery, Backbone, Angular, and everything front-end. I'm new to Node, and Meteor, but they've quickly supplanted my old server side tools (php, mysql, Wordpress, standard LAMP stuff).

What are you going to hack on?

I've got more than a few projects which I could putter away at, maybe my Meteor app that I never finished a public repository for Minecraft mods. I'm open to any new projects, or I can help with something someone else is working on. You can never have too many web devs around!

Wait, what? Why was I not told about this? I do web stuff for the bc gov. Mostly front end, often dirty, never on time. I've got over 9000 unfinished projects I could work on, but I'd rather hear what someone else wants to build.
