This event aims to educate retailers on available technologies they can leverage in order to increase sales, and your customers' experience. Whether you own a single boutique or multinational chain, you are bound to leave this event excited and inspired!

Come learn from these thought leaders:

Ms. Jane Kwett - www.Yelp.com - Community Director

Jane Kwett is the New York City Community Manager for Yelp.com - a website that connects people with great local businesses. In her role, Jane wears many hats from interacting with the community both online and off, writing a weekly newsletter, throwing regular events and handling marketing partnerships. She graduated from McGill University in 2006 and has worked at Yelp since its inception in 2005, pioneering both the local ad sales and client management programs before moving to New York in September '08. Ms. Carolin Greiner - www.Lusyte.com - Founder & CEO

Carolin has been pushing industry boundaries and turning innovative ideas into business-building realities for the past 17 years. She has held senior positions at traditional and digital agencies (Young & Rubicam, AgencySacks and HNW) and got an early taste for entrepreneurship at Oriel Wines and George Spencer Interior Design. Past clients include Gucci Group, Ermenegildo Zegna, Sotheby’s, Philippe Stark, Sea Island Resorts, PNC Wealth Management, Related Real Estate and Altria. BA Brown University and MBA INSEAD.

Much focus has been on the convenience and reach of eCommerce, but 90% of consumer product sales still happen the old-fashioned way – in physical stores. Retail stores have the distinct advantage of having sales people, who see clients interact with products, speak and listen to them – get to know them on a level that even the most sophisticated targeting systems cannot do. We believe in enabling sales people to leverage their knowledge to deliver a personalized service.

Our first product, the Lusyte App for mobile smart-phones was developed to facilitate personal relationship building. Launched in March 2011, we hope it will become a new standard for sales people to communicate with clients whether it be for fashion, jewelry/watches, home furnishings, sporting goods, specialty foods or specialty retailers.

Ms. Erika Wasser - Fits.Me - US Brand Development

Fits.me is a virtual fitting room for online clothing retailers. It has brought together competences from diverse fields ranging from apparel design and anthropometrics to IT, robotics and engineering.

Technology has been developed by:

Tartu Universtity – Laboratory of Intelligent Materials and Systems (Estonia) Tallinn Technical University – Centre of Biorobotics (Estonia) Human Solutions GmbH – the leading provider of anthropometrical data (Germany) The company is backed by venture capital, and has won various awards.

Lack of a fitting room is the biggest problem for apparel eCommerce. Fits.me is helping clothing retailers increase the sales, and decrease costs associated with returns.

A special thanks to our media sponsors!
