Details

Let’s network! Midokura is joining us in Oct to get after Neutron networking!

Session outline: OpenStack is an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform developed by the Open Source community and is designed to provide orchestration for building clouds on the fly. In this talk, we will talk a stroll down memory lane from a networking perspective. We will recall the early stages of Nova-Networking, how it evolved to Neutron today, and look at what to expect in the future of Neutron. We will discuss the network functionality and its shortcomings over the evolution of Neutron.

Presenter: Cynthia Thomas Cynthia (@techcet) is a member of the Systems Engineering team at Midokura. She enjoys highlighting the emerging technologies in network virtualization as application needs evolve. Her background in networking hardware spans from Telco, Data Center, and Campus/Enterprise solutions.
