OpenStack Networking & PLUMgrid Open Networking Suite

PLUMgrid will be in the house in February and brings us a session on Networking and OpenStack - one of the most interesting and evolving areas in OpenStack. As usual, we'll provide an open atmosphere for networking and sharing information from ~ 6:15 to 6:45pm with dinner and soft drinks provided by PLUMgrid.

Our session will be led by Fernando Sanchez - Principal Systems Engineer, at PLUMgrid. In this talk, Fernando will discuss OpenStack architecture with a particular focus on networking. We’ll cover some important considerations for networking in your OpenStack cloud, provide a look at common terminology, and discuss how Open Networking Suite works with OpenStack to alleviate networking challenges.

• NEW LOCATION - Tech Ranch has moved to 8920 Business Park Dr, Suite 250 , Austin, TX, 78759. This is just down the street from the previous location on Jollyville Rd.

• There will be light dinner courtesy of PLUMgrid ~ 6:15pm - networking time till about 6:45pm - we will kick off the speaking sessions ~ 6:45pm.

• If you are interested in giving a Lightening Talk shoot us a note with a topic or just come to the session ready to speak and let us know about your topic when you arrive! Lightening talks are SHORT 5-10 min. max. on a topic of interest to the OpenStack community.
