Living in the worlds of VMware and OpenStack

Details
Hey everyone - we have a GREAT topic for May with EMC {code} (http://emccode.github.io/?) joining us as co-sponsor, and Trevor Roberts of VMware leading the session! VMware technologies and products are a popular platform for enterprise virtualization, and we want our users to have successful deployments of OpenStack on vSphere. VMware is a part of the OpenStack Foundation, and we are excited to share the contributions we have made and continue to make to the community. We are known for our networking contributions in Neutron, but we are also active contributors to Nova, Cinder, Glance, and other projects.
In the May session at the Austin OpenStack meetup we will discuss our work including planned future work in these areas. After this talk you will have definite ideas of how to leverage the synergies between VMware technologies and OpenStack for the benefit of your users.
Trevor Roberts, Jr. is the Senior Technical Marketing Manager for OpenStack at VMware and the lead author of the VMware Press Title, “DevOps for VMware Administrators". He enjoys speaking to customers and partners about the benefits of using OpenStack with VMware technologies.
In his spare time, Trevor shares his insights on data center technologies at http://www.VMTrooper.com (https://legacyemail.emc.com/OWA/redir.aspx?C=UrA2B6nJUkulHVdLz_y_ctbjCaE_XdJIsRi-j2UAJDoihM1cqIueGRwGKWd18BTYqL65iSgd9Oo.&URL=http%3a%2f%2fwww.VMTrooper.com), via the vBrownBag Professional OpenStack and Professional VMware podcasts, and on Twitter (@VMTrooper). His contributions to the IT community have garnered recognition by his designation as a VMware vExpert, Cisco Data Center Champion, and EMC Elect.
