OpenStack Kolla and Magnum 101

We will be combining forces with the Denver Openstack Meetup folks. The topic and speaker for Feb is below:

Abstract:

Have you ever wondered what OpenStack is doing with containers? Wait no more… Join us to learn the basics of OpenStack’s leading container projects, Kolla and Magnum. This session will not turn you into an expert, but it should provide you a solid understanding of the projects. Who knows, maybe you’ll be inspired to contribute to them one day. Hopefully you walk away with a full stomach and a smile on your face too :-)

Bio:

Daneyon is a Software Engineer in Cisco’s Cloud Virtualization Group and an active OpenStack contributor since Diablo. He has 10+ years of distributed systems experience under his belt, with a strong background in deployment automation, high-availability and scalability. Over the past 16 months, Daneyon has focused his contributions to container-related projects, including OpenStack Kolla and Magnum. In addition to being an active OpenStack contributor, Daneyon has also authored several technical documents. Daneyon lives in Aliso Viejo, CA and enjoys spending time with his amazing family, snowboarding and hiking.
