OpenStack Cloud Management: How I Learned to Start Worrying and Actually Manage OpenStack like an Enterprise

Abstract: Once you've been running your OpenStack cluster in an Enterprise for a while, you may be wondering, how do I manage this thing? Who is using it? How do I track what is being done? How do I deal with sprawl? I need a second cloud in a different region, what now? Cloud Management Platforms, like Red Hat CloudForms or its Open Source counterpart ManageIQ, are designed to take your OpenStack cloud and bring intelligent management around that cloud. In this talk, learn about the differences between a Cloud Management Platform and an OpenStack cloud, and how a CMP, like Red Hat's CMP, can help you manage your cloud. We'll also deep dive into Cloud Management from Red Hat and how to build complex automation around OpenStack including code examples.
