National Day of Civic Hacking, v2

Last year, OSM had a strong presence at the National Day of Civic Hacking Seattle hackathon. This year's event is coming right up -- it's this Saturday, May 31, at Seattle City Hall. Let's do it again! There are already OSM and GIS-related projects being planned... For more info, and to register, hop over to the Code for Seattle meetup (register there, rather than here):

The hackathon starts at 10am and ends at 6pm -- the Meetup form did not allow setting the time, nor will it allow me to edit after posting. Clifford, can you change the time?

      Thanks!!

Is there a blurb on what needs to be done for the address errors? That sounds like a good one.

There's a project that Michael is working on, for monitoring trail and road usage (GIS and sensor networks), that can tie in too. I may already be "allocated" to that one. But if we can grab tables nearby, we can do both mapping and the sensor project. There are also several current HOT activations (Syria, flooding in Bosnia / Serbia).

I'll write up a post and get pics.

BTW, if you want to hop in remotely, we can set up either a G+ hangout or a Skype chat, or use IRC or Mumble.

Here is a link to address problems. http://tools.geofabri.... Just zoom in on a problem, select the node. Then with a click to one of the editor icons, iD, Potlatch, or JOSM (already open) you will be taken right to the error. The easiest to fix are addr:street doesn't match the street name. I am not available on the 31st but if something changes I'll let you know.

      Good Luck,
      Clifford
