Hack! Any language, any framework.

  • Jul 4, 2013 · 7:30 PM

Just hack.

Any language, any framework. There are only two rules:

  • Introduce yourself and say what you want to hack on.
  • Hack. If you do not have a project of your own, join somebody else in building something awesome.

For more information about the format see http://openhack.github.com/berlin/.

For the latest updates, follow us on twitter, and join the mailing list.

We are also on freenode in #OpenHackBER

Would love to do a bit of Node hacking on a taxi booking system I dreamt up.

Would anyone be interested in hearing a short (10-minute) presentation about a little game AI I wrote? It’s a series of slides (some with code on them) and of course a live demo :) All I would need is a projector. Do we have one?

OpenHack is not really meant for presentations. We want this to be a night of coding, either alone or together.
Of course you can show people what you've done, but I think slides belong to the myriad of other user groups in Berlin.

(I am not dismissing this entirely though, if there is enough demand, the beamer is yours ;)

Well, given the lack of demand, I guess I’ll pass then. (The one who liked my comment above, Bjørn, has already seen the presentation.) Thanks for your response though :)

Will probably go ahead and implement more examples from Hacker's delight in Go.
