Ceilometer (Telemetry) OpenBook & Paris Summit Open Mike

Details

Hello all - Talligent joins us in Nov. Check if out!

You evaluated the OpenStack options, picked your favorite distribution, and launched your cloud to the world (or at least your department). Interest is high, people are testing things out, but your visibility is limited. Now what?

Sanjay Mishra, CTO of Talligent, will discuss best practices for managing a multi-tenant OpenStack Cloud, including billing/chargeback, management reporting, self-service automation, and customer lifecycle management. Case studies include a public cloud built for the highly regulated financial services and healthcare industries as well as a large private cloud hosting 200+ tenants with widely varying needs.

OpenBook by Talligent provides the visibility and control required for multi-tenant private or public clouds running on OpenStack, leveraging a deep integration with OpenStack components and a detailed historical record of configuration details and consumption metrics

Sanjay is Founder and CTO of Talligent, the Openstack billing and customer lifecycle company. He has been closely involved with the Openstack movement for the last 18 months, and has helped drive the development of the Ceilometer Openstack Telemetry and metering service.
