OpenStack networking - Neutron deep dive with PLUMgrid

PLUMgrid is our co-sponsor and will lead off the March Meetup with a session on Neutron Networking and OpenStack - one of the most interesting and evolving areas in OpenStack. As usual, we'll provide an open atmosphere for networking and sharing information from ~ 6:30 to 7:00pm with dinner and soft drinks provided by PLUMgrid.

The session will be led by Fernando Sanchez - Principal Systems Engineer, at PLUMgrid. In this talk, Fernando will discuss OpenStack architecture with a particular focus on networking. We’ll cover some important considerations for networking in your OpenStack cloud, provide a look at common terminology, and discuss how Open Networking Suite works with OpenStack to alleviate networking challenges.

Reminders:

• A light dinner and soft drinks will be provided ~ 6:30pm courtesy of PLUMgrid, and we will kick off the sessions ~ 7:00pm.

• If you are interested in giving a Lightening Talk shoot us a note with a topic or just come to the session ready to speak!

• DON'T FORGET - for security reasons, the NERD center requires atendees to show a government issued photo ID in order to gain access into the building.

• Parking: Best option for parking is the NERD center parking garage which charges a flat rate after 4pm.
