Container Networking in OpenStack: Containers-as-a-Service

Details
Greetings everyone - mark your calendars now for our March OpenStack Meetup. Note the Wed date!
PLUMgrid joins us as co-sponsor and I know you will enjoy a dynamic session with our lead speaker Fernando Sanchez.
It has been demonstrated that it is relatively easy to launch tens of thousands of containers on a group of hosts. But what new demands do containers at scale put on your virtual network infrastructure? At this meetup, PLUMgrid will discuss how Neutron can provide network functionalities for containers and how and if CNI (Container Network Interface), CNM (Container Network Model) and other network models fit into OpenStack to solve the pressing security and scale requirements of containers. Join us for an evening of intriguing topics, and free food!
PRESENTER: Fernando Sanchez is a Principal Systems Engineeer at PLUMgrid where he works in implementing software networking infrastructures in his customer's clouds. Fernando has 15 years experience in designing, implementing and operating large-scale networks of virtually all kinds of customers ranging from tier-1 telcos to massive datacenters and enterprises. Fernando became an engineer in his natal Spain and since then has gained certifications from virtually every vendor he's worked with, including Alcatel-Lucent, Brocade, Force10 or Vyatta.
Reminders:
• A light dinner and soft drinks will be provided courtesy of PLUMgrid ~ 6:15pm and we will kick off the sessions ~ 7:00pm.
• If you are interested in giving a Lightening Talk shoot us a note with a topic or just come to the session ready to speak!
• DON'T FORGET - for security reasons, the NERD center requires attendees to show a government issued photo ID in order to gain access into the building.
• Parking: Best option for parking is the NERD center parking garage which charges a flat rate after 4pm.
