Exclusive Preview of the First Native Backup and Recovery Solution for OpenStack

Details

June we will meetup on the 16th - we have a double header event - mark your calendars now!

1st Presentation:

Join Murali Balcha, co-founder and CTO of Trilio Data as they offer members of the OpenStack Boston MeetUp group an opportunity to see TrilioVault, the industry's only native data protection solution for OpenStack.

TrilioVault is a subscription-based, tenant driven, agent-less, non-disruptive and incremental backup service for OpenStack. With the solution, users can either selectively or with one-click restore production or clone point-in-time environments for both development and testing. The solution has built-in high availability and scalability, with the option to replicate workloads for disaster recovery.

OpenStack Boston members will learn why backup and recovery is a challenge for OpenStack and how TrilioVault addresses these challenges. Members will also hear how TrilioVault emerged from Raksha, the first specification for OpenStack Backup-as-a-Service.

2nd Presentation: Details to follow, check back soon!

Reminders:

• A light dinner and soft drinks will be provided ~ 6:15pm and we will kick off the sessions ~ 7:00pm.

• If you are interested in giving a Lightening Talk shoot us a note with a topic or just come to the session ready to speak!

• DON'T FORGET - for security reasons, the NERD center requires attendees to show a government issued photo ID in order to gain access into the building.
