"Call of the Worship Leader"

Very exciting news: Dr. Debby Kerner Rettino, Director of Worship Leadership for Saddleback Church, will lead a special clinic for our group along with other Orange County worship musicians and leaders. The topic is “The Call of the Worship Leader: What we are Called to do, Who we are Called to be.”

This interactive clinic is designed to help worship leaders and musicians understand how to best apply their gifts to do God's work. Dr. Debby Kerner Rettino (https://www.meetup.com/Orange-County-Praise-Worship-Musicians/messages/boards/thread/10713122), Director of Worship Leadership at Saddleback, has been a leading figure in worship music since 1969.

Everyone is welcome, including musicians and vocalists performing (or interested in performing) at a church, for a ministry, during bible studies or as part of a community outreach program. Likewise, all denominations, skill levels and musical styles are welcome.

The Worship Musicians Association (WMA) is a growing association (400 members) of worship musicians and vocalists, and is dedicated to fellowship, education, outreach and worship. Founded by local guitarist “Jake” Gandolf, the WMA is also a forum for churches, musicians and bands to connect with one another.

This free program will include live music from representative WMA musicians. You’ll also have the option of purchasing a pasta dinner prior to the meeting for $5 at the adjacent café.
