Did you know that there are approximately 300 DBAs being filed in Orange County every single day? That number is expected to grow to about 500 in the next 18-24 months. Why? Because many recently laid off workers are launching their own Small Business.

Many people who once had steady incomes have ceased putting their faith into the false security of relying on someone else for their paycheck. They want to be in control of their own destiny. They want more than what a pay cap will ever offer. And they want freedom to be creative and explore the vast horizon that lies far beyond that of any "corporate boundary."

And that's great news! Because as we all know, Small Business is a major driving force behind our global economy.

The not-so-great news is this:

50% of Small Business will fail within 3 years, and 90% will fail within the first 5 years. Why? Because most Small Business owners begin with a grand idea; they envision the money they stand to make, but they lack the proper resources to create an effective and objective foundation for their business.

We've all heard it said, "You don't know what you don't know." Well, this group has been established to PUT YOU IN THE KNOW!

We're here to help you learn, share and network. The purpose of this Meetup group is to provide you with the tools you need to get your business on the right track. Everything from effective marketing strategies, to accounting practices, to legal advice.

Each Meetup will honor a guest professional speaker in one area of business expertise. It makes no difference what business you are in, the information we will provide will be a resource that ALL Small Business Owners will benefit from.

My promise to you is that you will learn something from every Meetup, network in a relaxed and casual environment, make new friends, and have fun. But most importantly, you will be provided with resources that, until now, have remained a mystery to the average Small Business owner.
