From Application to Interview: How to get a Great UX Job
Patrick Neeman presents: The process of getting a great user experience job isn’t as hard as you would think. This workshop covers all aspects of the interview process, from presenting a great resume and portfolio, what to expect during an in person interview.
Mobile as a UX Driver
Jon Fox presents: Showcasing how the user experience movement of simple design, quick data consumption and connectivity is driven by the rise in mobile devices, small screen applications and on-the-go mobility.
About our presenters:
Patrick Neeman
Director of User Experience, Usability Counts
Patrick Neeman lives in San Francisco, California and is currently the Director of Product Design at nPARIO, a marketing analytics platform. Prior to that, he was a Director of User Experience at Jobvite, a social recruiting and applicant tracking platform, and a Social Media and User Experience consultant for Microsoft.
Previous experience includes building a User Experience team from 1 to 25 at a consultancy, work as part of the prelaunch team at Orbitz, and the successful launch of several startup sites. He has self published several mobile applications, including the UX Drinking Game and Perks Locator, a travel application.
Jon Fox
Director of User Experience / Mobile Interaction Design, Love It, LLC
In Jon's own words, "Creating a world that is simple and usable, I design mobile, tablet and web products that bridge the gap between user experience, visual design, business strategy and technical implementation to create a synonymous brand ecosystem across screens.
My background in UX began with interactive entertainment design at Paramount Pictures and grew into a focus on designing simple, innovative and feature rich products. I have a passion for bringing technology solutions to everyday users and developing products that make a difference for people."
