Build up your confidence, Find your Voice, Tell your Story!

If you have presentations to do at work, if you're thinking you would love to say poetry, stories or comedy routines from a stage, if your best friend just asked you to be his best man and make a speech for his marriage...

If you would love to become more assertive and more confident in social settings, to express yourself more and better than you do...

Organic speaking  (previously Speed Public Speaking) is there to improve our "human skills"!

Why this word: "Organic"?

Firstly, it reflects my values: I like what's ethical, sustainable, respectful... and simple. I am a hippie!

More to the point: when it comes to speaking, I value authenticity. I love "real". Good luck: That what works best nowadays, even in formal settings!

The topics of the exercises are easy and personal, like conversation starters:

"What do you love doing when you're not working?"
"What irritates you more than anything?"
"What is your favorite dish?"
"Tell us one of your success story!"

Sometimes, when the moment feels right, the questions can be a little bit more challenging.
"What does it mean to be a man in 2016?"
"What do you believe in?"

Then work on the "technical" stuff such as pace, body language, voice projection, structure of the speech, engagement with the audience, vocal variety, finding relevant examples and metaphors...

We train our communication skills, and we tell stories.

So... how about becoming a confident speaker, get your voice heard and tell the stories you want to tell?

The purpose of Organic Public Speaking is to build up confidence and improve communication and social skills.

The format of Organic Public Speaking events Participants are invited to give several short, impromptu speeches to better their public speaking skills, improve their confidence, find out about their unsuspected talents as speakers or performers.

This group offers a warm and supportive environment in which to practice.

Each person will have several opportunities to speak each evening.

Everyone gets feedback with bespoke exercises to practise on the spot.

There is also an opportunity to practice formal public speaking skills. A manual of guidelines to prepare more formal speeches is available, which covers professional presentations, storytelling, pleas, rants, sermons, real life stories, and lectures. This complements the more informal speed public speaking exercises. You can download the manual for free at

About me

I am a story teller, between other things. A story teller is a performing artist. I have told stories to people for more than 20 years (mostly in French, but also in English, including at my Toastmasters International club: Holborn Speakers). I have also sung in a cappella groups (baroque, renaissance, variety) and stage acted.

I am  HSP, that is a Highly Sensitive Person. According to Elaine Aron (PhD), about 15% of individuals in any population - including animals - have a nervous system that is considered highly sensitive, which implies more vulnerability and also more empathy and intuition. This gives me greater capacity to help you.

Check on my website.

I have also created a Facebook group as well, don't hesitate to join and ask any questions you may have about public speaking and human communication. I'll answer to the best of my knowledge...
