Announcing a new Meetup for Orlando Area Dining Out Group!
What: Jack's Steakhouse - Baldwin Park
When: Sunday, February 28,[masked]:00 PM
4868 New Broad Street
Orlando, FL 32814
I've been going to Jack's Steakhouse for a couple of years, and have never been less than completely impressed. In picturesque Baldwin Park, Jack's is situated on the corner of the main Village Center street, New Broad Street, and a wonderful open courtyard, ideal for people watching. Weather permitting, we will sit outside on the patio for a beautiful al fresco experience. Parking is available on the street, in the parking lot on Jake St. across from BullFish, or in the Publix parking lot by the Barnie's Coffee shop.
I've been wanting to do a Meetup here forever, now we're doing it!
If you've never been to Jack's, here is a pretty concise description of their specialties, right from their website:
Jack's Steakhouse takes pride in serving only USDA certified prime and upper tier choice meats. Our chefs hand cut all of our steaks daily, ensuring only the finest quality and cuts of meat arrive at your table.
"From the ocean to your table," Jack's Steakhouse offers only the freshest seafood and shellfish. Whether your preference is mahi-mahi or our Australian lobster tail, you can expect nothing less then perfection.
Maybe you are celebrating a special occasion, or just unwinding after a long day, Our full service bar and friends wait staff have just what you need. Sample one of our exquisite wines from across the globe, or try one of our signature martinis. Stop in, have a drink, and make some new friends. We are your neighborhood steakhouse.
Management has assured me that we will have drink and wine specials, stay tuned and I'll post those details as soon as I get them.
If you'd like to take a look at their menu - http://www.jacksorlando.com/images/menu/dinner.pdf
The food at Jack's is consistently great, and whether you go light (one of their flatbreads, or amazing Lobster Bisque & Jack's House Salad is a GREAT combo), or go for a full meal like the Orange Roughy Oscar or 22oz Porterhouse, you won't be disappointed.
After dinner, take a stroll through Baldwin Park, down by the lake, do a little window shopping - it's a GREAT area - this should be a really nice night - Hope you can make it!
As always, keeping your RSVP current is a must. Having empty tables for our group due to no-shows is inconsiderate to both the restaurant and to the other members of our group. In addition, if you had planned to attend but later find you cannot, please change your RSVP to "no" as soon as possible. Last-minute cancellations can cause just as many difficulties as no-shows. This is why we unfortunately cannot accept "maybe" RSVP's for this event. We have to have an accurate number of attendees for the restaurant. Thanks for your cooperation in continuing to make this such a great group!
