OpenStack is a infrastructure as a service cloud platform that runs some of the worlds coolest private and public clouds. A user committee of over 5,600 active participants and 850 organizations makes OpenStack  the worlds largest open source project. OpenStack integrates with all major virtualization technologies including containers and is one of the few technologies that brings together database, storage, networking and security under the umbrella of the cloud.

OpenStack has been embraced by the Enterprise, and companies like Walmart, IBM and Sony are just a few of the big brands that run their businesses with it.

The project also has support from many of the worlds leading technology companies. Companies like Cisco, Google, Oracle, IBM, HP, VMware, RedHat, EMC, Canonical and others all have products, solutions and technology offerings built specifically for OpenStack.

If you live in Central Florida and you interested in learning more abut OpenStack then you should definitely consider attending our user group to connect, learn and share ideas with some of the other stackers in Central Florida region. The user group meets once a month in downtown Orlando, and everyone is welcome from OpenStack Newbs to OpenStack Ninjas.

The meetup will be combination of education and discussions focused on the following; current OpenStack events, technical over views of OpenStack projects, installing and configuring the OpenStack Cloud, installing and configuring various OpenStack projects, OpenStack Architecture and implementations, and vendor presentations on OpenStack technologies and solutions.
