Thanks for checking into the Orlando LGBT Professional Social Network! This group is an excellent way to network and meet new friends and contacts in the LGBTQIAP (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, Pansexual) community. All members of the LGBTQ+ community are welcome with no discrimination or judgment, just new friends (and old ones) having fun. This group is for socializing and networking with like minded professional individuals; it is not designed to be a dating or hook up site. Of course, you never know where or when the love bug might bite (and it is a wonderful thing when that happens), but that is not the purpose of this group so please treat your fellow members with the respect and professionalism that we all deserve.
As the COVID situation improves we will be scheduling monthly events again, including opportunities for members to gather and get to know one another. Since members are from various cities around the Orlando area we try to hold events in different places. Please let the Organizer know if you have a preference for location or a favorite eating establishment that can accommodate small groups. There will also be occasional social OUTings which will include trips to local festivals, parks, tourist attractions, movies and possibly events in private homes such as game nights, pot lucks, movie nights, etc. If you are interested in hosting an event please let the Organizer know. Other events such as professional network and seminars may be held as opportunities arise.. If there is an event you would like to see on the group's calendar and are willing to attend, please let the Organizer know.
LGBTQ+ adults 21+ years of age can request to join the group. All requests must have a recognizable photo of the requestor's face in order to be considered for membership. If this is an issue, please explain on your application and it will be considered by the membership review committee.
