I have recently been granted permission to set up some of my tools in some space available by a friend I met at Northland Church. I'm busy clearing it out and organizing the logistics and hope I can get everything set up by the end of the month (October). I still have not yet gotten a part-time job or enough paying work to cover bills so I may not make it to the fair this time around. Hope to visit your facility though again at one of your "open-house" events.
    Best Regards to all,
    Richard D.

I hope I can make it to the October event; it will be my first attendance at one of these meetings.
In the mean time I'm still looking for someone who has the resources to help me set up a woodworking/maintenance shop; the only resources I have to contribute toward it, at this time, are my skills, experience and some essential portable tools that are currently waiting in a self-storage facility until I can find a home for them.
I have a very diverse skill-set in the areas of woodworking and mechanics to bring to the table of discussion and there's a lot of different projects I'd like to undertake or be involved with to satisfy my predilections toward designing, inventing and making things.
Best Regards to All the inventors and tinkerers out there.

Have you ever heard of FamiLAB? It's not a strict workshop, as in it's not built for profit, but we have a 4000 square foot warehouse. For $50 a month, you get 24/7 access, and we allow members to keep a small movable tool chest, so you could literally set up shop there.

I am interested in give a little help. Fund raising, and investing some money and time if necessary.

This sounds like fun; I think I'd like to check it out and see if & how I can participate. Are there some archives of past events that give a bigger picture about how to be involved?...(either individually or with other members?)

I have wanted to go to one of these for several years. Unfortunately, they are usually in CA or the east coast. Excited. In the process of moving to Orlando now to be with family.
