August iOS Developer Meetup
Details
We've got two fantastic presentations lined up for August's meetup.
Presenter: Tulio Troncoso
Tulio Troncoso is an associate quality assurance engineer at IZEA. Formerly, Tulio was an iOS developer at Spry, a digital agency in downtown Orlando. His job now is to ensure that software coming out of the Dev team is on par with specification. When Tulio isn’t writing tickets, he’s most likely writing code at home or Netflix bingeing
Presentation: UIAppearance Proxies
Theme support is something that Tulio has been both intrigued and bothered about. Users like having the option to personalize the software they use, and they tend to have themes for allthethings. But supporting themes on iOS can easily be overlooked and as a result, future customization and style changes tend to be grueling. Tulio will give a demo on how to Swiftly add theme support to an iOS app using UIAppearance proxies

Presenter: Jon Friskics
Jon Friskics an iOS developer from Orlando, Florida. He is the content director at Code School, an online learning platform that uses a combination of videos, slides, and interactive code challenges to help you learn by doing.
Presentation: Generics
Learn how to write more reusable code with Swift generics. Generics are a way to write classes and functions without declaring a specific type but still have a strong type set when the function is called. They help you write less code while still maintaining type safety.

Very sorry for the short delay. I'm back from my vacation but still a little rusty. We'll have more notice for September.
