April Orlando Devs Meetup
Details
It's that time for our April Meetup! This month we're having 2 full talks, and are still looking for a couple of lightning talks (Interested in speaking? Sign up here: http://bit.ly/odevs-speaker-form ).
Since we're having a React Hack Night (http://bit.ly/twt-odevs-react-hacknight) approximately two weeks after the April meetup, we're theming this meetup after React so we can all figure out what the buzz is about.
Full talks:
Scott Crespo (https://twitter.com/ScottCrespo): "Develop Native Mobile Apps with Javascript" Discover what React Native is and why it's so useful for both iOS and Android platforms. Understand the core concepts behind React Native, advantages and disadvantages, and fundamental design patterns.
Jacques Fu (https://twitter.com/jacqueskfu) - "Making a Business Case for React" Learn how to pitch to your boss or business teams why you should be using a React-based architecture. Move beyond “faster" and “better" to a more sophisticated and clear business case for learning and developing your apps in the React framework.
Venue:
We'd like to thank PowerDMS (http://www.powerdms.com/about/careers/) for being our venue sponsor for the next few meetups. (Take the elevator to the third floor)
Sponsors:
We would like to thank Unikey (http://www.unikey.com/) for sponsoring the beer. Also Highwinds (https://www.highwinds.com/company/careers/) for being a continuous sponsor for us as well.
