Re: [orlandophp] Call for Presenters for May and June PHP Meetups

Err, the tool isn't really part of the abstract. If I was going to give a presentation about the tool, it would focus on the tool's features. My talk is about appsec above and beyond compliance.

The tool is called ASGard. It achieves secure code delivery through the use of cryptographic signatures (Ed25519) and userbase consistency verification through the use of a distributed ledger (BLAKE2b-based blockchain).

Hey Scott,

Can you email me directly an abstract / description of your presentation and we'll talk about potentially getting you included into the lineup?

Thanks.

I'm working on a tool, written in PHP, that I will be releasing at Bsides Orlando this weekend. If anyone likes, I can also do a presentation about it at the next PHP meetup.

Hey all,

We're looking for a presenter for the PHP meetup that is happening on May 7th as well as the June 4th meetup. If there's any interesting PHP-related technology you're working with that you'd like to tell other people about, reach out!

Interested in speaking but you've never done it before? We can help you put together a presentation.

Here's some suggested topics:

- PSR-7
-- Related: A primer on HTTP Middleware in web applications would be a cool topic
- Codeception
- Case study on PHP usage in live environments
- PHP as a tooling language (or: uses for PHP besides just web development)
- An introduction to your favorite framework or library of choice
- An advanced overview of something cool you have done or can do with your favorite framework or library of choice
- Troubleshooting and Debugging problems in PHP applications
- Anything PHP-related you can think of!

We would love to have another new face give a presentation, so if you have anything in mind, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Thanks,

- Jeremy
