Welcome To the Oslo Hadoop Big Data Vikings Meetup #7

Both to our wonderful existing members and all the new Big Data Vikings! You are all very welcome! We have had lots holidays, long work days and some sickness so we have had to push things forward and around a little. So sorry for any disappoint but we are good to go :-)

As always we will present a great introduction to Big Data, show you what its all about, give some exciting real examples, build your network and knowledge.

Our focus in this session is a combination of topics relating to Data Acquisition to the Data Lake, Spark and some real world examples of Big Data in Action.

The content is for everyone no matter your skills and you will gain some valuable insights and understanding.

We are also interested to find some core Big Data Vikings, both individuals and companies that are willing to involve themselves with the group, both with time and sponsorship to support and develop the group. Ensuring we build a healthy open community.
