This month Harry Brundage, the Director of Data Platform Engineering at Shopify, will be presenting Shipping with Confidence: How to roll out terrifying changes to your infrastructure and code without a hitch!

Harry shares the techniques Shopify uses to change their production systems - both Hadoop and web tier - without breaking them. He'll discuss a spectrum of techniques: ring deploys, Docker based isolation, staging environments, logging strategies, and online verifiers to test changes and determine whether a solution is valid before exposing it to the world.

Afterwards we'll go the Royal Oak on Wellington for discussion, food and drinks.
