Outdoor Afro Central Texas

Outdoor Afro celebrates and inspires Black connections and leadership in nature. Our local network activities range from hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, swimming, bird watching, fishing, and more. 

Outdoor Afro uses social media to create interest communities, events, and to partner with regional and national organizations that support diverse participation in the Great Outdoors. Here is where you can start locally connecting with black people who share your outdoor interests! The Outdoor Afro Central Texas group extends along the I-35 corridor between Austin and San Antonio which goes as far north as Georgetown and as far south as San Marcos.
