Paramount Ranch to the MASH site via Reagan Ranch

It seemed that everyone really like the Malibu Creek/MASH site, so I though I would mix things up and do a hike that hits TWO historic filming locations.

The great thing about the Paramount Ranch, other than the fact that you can pose as John Wayne or Clint Eastwood and get your picture taken at the western movie set . . . is that the parking is free.

We'll park at the ranch, cross the creek, look at the movie set, then hike to and across former President Reagans' ranch (now parkland) to get the MASH site, (and rockpool if people want to go).

This will be about the same distance and difficulty (approx. 6 miles of mostly level to rolling hiking), except for one part where we take the side trail that crosses the ridge from the Reagan ranch to the MASH site, (but that part will still be fun - just not flat).

Afterwards, there are local establishments if anyone wants to go. Top of the list would be Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, but last time we tried to go there, they had a special event.

Please bring water, trail snacks, sunscreen, sturdy footwear, dress for the weather . . . you know the drill.
