Griffith Park Hike from Ranger Station with Sierra Club

We are going to meet at the Ranger Station and then walk to parking lot 2 to go on a Sierra Club hike. We'll do a moderate hike--level 3. This hike will introduce you to Sierra Club hikes which are every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7 PM. More info about Sierra Club hikes: http://angeles.sierraclub.org/griffith/location.asp

Meet at 6:40 PM, but leave at 6:45 PM. Meet in front of the ranger station. We will walk to Parking Lot 2 to start their hikes. Map for parking lot 2 (Sierra Club meeting spot) http://angeles.sierraclub.org/griffith/location.asp

Parking is in the free parking lot. We'll go on a 4-6 miles RT 800 feet elevation gain hike. Hike will be approx 2 hours. Bring water, sweater since we'll be hiking in the dark, shoes with good traction.

Meet by lights--near building.

Ranger Station is by merry-go-round. There's a stop sign where it is. The Mapquest directions may take you too far.

Rain cancels hike--including light rain.
