Join Rick Farber Juana Torres for a 3 mile hike to scenic Eaton Canyon Falls for a cool dip before the potluck picnic. Bring Hat , water, suntan lotion and hiking boots. Perishable food for the picnic can be stored in the nature center kitchen. Meet 12:45 pm in front of the flag pole at the Eaton Canyon Nature Center.

After the hike, join us for the picnic. please bring a side dish to share.
The Sierra Club will providing pizza's and drinks.

At the potluck we will be having a program -"Tough Choices on the Angeles National Forest", Justin Seastrand, environmental Coordinator for the Angeles National Forest, discuss the difficult decisions he and the Forest Service colleagues in the Forest Service have to make in managing our public lands in the San Gabriel Mountains.

What Major projects are in the works? What should we do about the explosive spread of Poodle bush? The answer may surprise you.

Justin will address these and other issues that affect the future of our nearby public lands. You will also learn how you can help our forest and expand healthy recreational opportunities through the creation of a national recreation area.
