Hike to the Hollywood Sign in Griffith Park--the long way

Hike from the Greek Theatre to the Hollywood Sign (the LOOONG way) Griffith Park. We'll meet at 12 PM in front of the Greek Theatre. We'll leave at 12:15 PM. Address of the Greek Theatre is

Hike is approx. 8 miles RT. It is a 4 -6 hours hike! It has 900-1,000 feet elevation gain. It is moderate hike. You will be tired after this hike since it is looong. You may be too tired to go to a NYE party later.

We'll be hiking on a paved road where some bikers use. Stay on the sides. Be aware of the bikers! Cars aren't allowed on this road.

Bring 2-3 bottles of waters and sneakers with good traction. This hike will burn off all of those calories from X-Mass!

Rain postpones the hike.

No beginners.
