Hike in Griffith Park to a little pine tree forest

We'll hike to a little pine tree forest in GP. Rumor has it that the ET phone home scene was filmed here--this according to Bob. Lots of other movies are filmed here when a pine tree forest scene is needed.
Meet at 1 PM, but leave 1 :15 PM. Meet in front of the Greek Theatre. This hike is approx. 3-4 miles RT and 600 feet gain. Hike should be around 2 hours. This is a moderate hike. Bring 1-2 quarts of water. Shoes with good traction will do.
