Urban Walk along Hollywood Blvd

Meet at Hollywood Blvd and Western Blvd at 2 PM. Leave at 2:15 PM. Meet near the US Bank Atm machine. It is next to the Metro station.

We will walk appprox. 4.5 miles RT. If you don't want to walk back (or want more time), you can take the Metro back to Western and Hollywood. You'll need $1.50. http://www.metro.net/around/fares . You can get the subway on at Hollywood & Highlands.

Along the way, we'll walk by the following places:

W Hotel-- Check out the photos! (http://www.starwoodhotels.com/whotels/property/photos/index.html?propertyID=1789) Pig & Whistle Bar Egyptian Theatre Hollywood & Highlands (our final stop) We'll take a 1 hour break. We'll meet back in front of the Metro station to walk back--if you want to. If you lose us on the walk, there are several other Metro stops along Hollywood Blvd ( http://www.metro.net/riding_metro/maps/images/7_11-1521_blt_Hollywood.pdf )

This walk can be more dangerous than hiking since we'll be crossing many streets! Be CAREFUL! Cross the street at your own discretion! OSS Meetup isn't responsible for you! You are responsible for yourself!
