O: Gould Mesa to Paul Little Picnic Area (500'+ gain, approx 3 mi, 2 hrs rt)Drive north on Angeles Crest Hwy approx 2 mi to a dirt parking area on the right side of the road, just above the LaCanada Country Club. Meet 9:00 a.m. Upon arrival to Paul Little Picnic area, we may decide to continue on to the OakWilde Campground (3.2 mi one-way), depending on the weather and majority vote. Numerous stream crossings whichcan be fairly deep during these winter months. Enjoy the sounds of the canyon from any of the picnic tables. Bring lugs,rain gear, lunch and good company.
