Evening Griffith Park Hike

Meet at the corner of Los Feliz Blvd and Fern Dell by the bear statute at 5:45 PM. At 6 PM, we'll start hiking to Mt. Hollywood (NOT the Hollywood sign). Bring 2-3 bottles of water for a 5-6 miles hike RT. Sneakers with good traction and a sweater or jacket because you'll come back in the dark. Hike is 1,000 feet elevation gain.No beginners or people out of shape.Hike isn't for beginners!

If you want to go back early, print out the map below. Don't recommend it!

Hike should be around 3 hours.

You'll see the sunset on this hike. We'll be coming back in the dark.

Park below Los Feliz Blvd. because you'll get a ticket after sunset (on Fern Dell Dr.).

Will need a sweep for this hike. Any volunteers?

If for some reason you get seperated from us, use the observatory as your landmark, Fern Dell is west of it.
